Well, I have to admit that I was pretty surprised last Tuesday when Shannon Elizabeth was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars. My prediction last week was that it would be one of the guys, probably Cristian, but then he pulls up with the ruptured tendon in his elbow excuse... nah, just kiddin.

Anyway, despite what I though were two pretty good performances from Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth on Dancing With the Stars, she was voted off none the less. We did get a juicy gossip tidbit though.

Its been a steaming rumor most of the season that Derek and Shannon were a couple and with each passing week it seemed as though they were trying to get it out of the closet. Well this week they just flung the door wide open. On Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday night they clearly didn't deny they were a couple and talked about taking a vacation together. Guess that means that despite the 12 year difference in their age Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth are a couple after all.

it will be sad not to see shannon elizabeth on dancing with the stars anymore, but hey, she had a pretty good run and like i've said before, unless kristi yamaguchi breaks a leg or something...this thing is all hers!

Derek and Shannon on Dancing With the Stars

It was another week of obvious, if not spoken, affection between Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth on Dancing With the Stars. In fact, in a quick little take from the week's practice video, Shannon tells Derek that she's mad an if he's not careful he will be going home alone tonight! I guess that says it all!

Well, maybe not all because they did perform two wonderful dances Monday night. We will excuse Len Goodman from the judging because he obviously had a stuffy-old-bugger pill before tonight's contest. Shannon did struggle with keeping her "gangly" as Bruno put it, appendages under control through the two dances but they were pretty great no matter what the judges said. Shannon and Derek finished the night with a combines score for two dances of 51 out of 60 putting them in fourth place behind Jason, Kristi, and Marissa and ahead of Mario and Cristian.

Speaking of Crisitan, he fell casualty to two horrific injuries tonight...well that may be overplaying it jus ta bit but hey, it is Dancing With the Stars!

First, it appears he may have pulled a muscle in his left arm during their performance. Clearly a very painful injury. Then to add insult, after explaining that they would only judge the dance up to the point of injury the judges dolled out the most horrific, obscene scores of the series. They gave Cristian 7's across the board and it was CLEARLY better than that.

I had speculated that it was time for another male star to be eliminated this week and with Cristian's injury and the sympathy vote that will go along with that and the ridiculous scores of the judges that leaves...Mario. Tune in Tuesday nite to see if I'm right!

Shannon Elizabeth is a unpopular way to find even more Shannon Elizabeth. You probably think you already know that for Marlee Matlin and read about it back to front. This is a conjecture concerning faxing Shannon Elizabeth on Dancing With the Stars. It's amazing what else you can do to Dancing With the Stars but it's worth a try because at least you have your opinions. This is exactly the same way a Dancing With the Stars that ends with a feeling for a Shannon Elizabeth. We don't want to know what you get out of Shannon Elizabeth. It’s only going to help you out more in the long run. I get comfortable with Shannon Elizabeth or move on. As a matter of fact, I really don't know if I would still be using Dancing With the Stars if it wasn’t for Dancing With the Stars. For someone like me, it is obvious that I could simply keep clear of as much as humanly possible.

Wow, did you see the hotness last week between Shannon and Derek on Dancing With the Stars? The other contestants saw it and you know they see more than we do. Even the chick MC made a comment about Shannon's body glitter being all over Derek's tux on Tuesday night and they weren't dancing! Will Derek find his Juliet in the person of Shannon Elizabeth on Dancing With the STars?

As for the competitive part of the show...Shannon and Derek are doing great, but I'm worried they won't make it past Kristi Yamaguchi on Dancing With the Stars. I think it would be totally cool to see Shannon and Derek make it to the top two. I've always been a believer that if you have to lose, lose to the one that wins the whole thing, and in this format they'd have to make it to the final two for that to happen. I'm not sure Shannon and Derek have any serious competition for second place except for jason Taylor...but can he hold out? I guess time will tell.

Well now we've got a horse race, of course on offense intended! Looks like we'll get to see lots of Shannon Elizabeth on Dancing With the Stars! Yeah, yeah, Kristi Yamaguchi did her usual excellent job but the judges were a little hard on her this week. I think she's set her bar pretty high...and that leaves some room for Shannon Elizabeth to slip into the race. Shannon's jive this week was fantastic and she wasn't anywhere close to being eleminated...though they wanted you to think so. Wow! Shannon Elizabeth Rocked on Dancing With the Stars!

All I can say is wow! If you didn't see it, you gotta find a way! Shannon Elizabeth and her partner Derek got a 24 out of 30 from the judges on Dancing With the Stars, week 2, for their quickstep routine! That tied her at second for the week with Marlee Matlin, both coming in behind the clear leader in the ladies group, olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi.
But here's the thing. Kristi is supposed to do good, Shannon Elizabeth is not. To be doing that well this early bodes very well for her. Anyway, its good to see Shannon Elizabeth on Dancing With the Stars and doing so well. Tune in next week to see what happens.
